EVR Cargo’s subsidiary WagonPro, which operates with renting wagons, is going to rent 62 recently received container platforms to the company MTF Logistics, which is the Estonian logistic partner of the Mitsubishi Corporation. By taking the new wagons into use, the volumes of containers being carried along Estonian railways will increase almost by three times.
“The wagons rented for the Estonian partner of Mitsubishi are part of EVR Cargo’s investment plan in the business line of wagons. The new acquisition will help the whole Estonian sector of logistics and adds certainty that Estonia is a good partner for newcomers,” said the Chairman of the Management Board of EVR Cargo, Raul Toomsalu.
EVR Cargo has a long-term co-operation experience with the company MTF Logistics in operating two regular container lines. Different volumetric goods will be carried with the new wagons between Muuga port and Koidula railway border crossing point.
EVR Cargo is the leading railway company of Estonia, whose main business lines are carriage of goods, engine and wagon repair and construction, and wagon rent. 650 people work in the company.
